Passion Power and Purpose

If you were born between 1946 and 1964, you are one of approximately 78 million human beings that arrived on the planet during that time.   My belief is that we decided to be here to assist Earth with the largest shift in energy never before done.

All the changes in culture, thought and societies we "boomers" have brought about since the Sixties, Seventies, and forward, have been by design:  All part of the "plan" leading us to where we are now.    And if you think for one minute we are done, we are not!!   Now comes the good part!  The part we have been waiting for...

The Sixties: we saw the British Invasion of rock and roll that changed music forever.  Guys with long hair making music that the world loved!

In the late Sixties and Seventies, we started arriving at colleges and universities and had peace rallies against the Vietnam war.
We actually thumbed our nose at the draft board and fled the country in huge numbers.

We grew our hair long, out of the norm, and stood up to the derision of our elders, and we were named "hippies"

Our dress changed.  The Graduate and Hair were some of the first artistic endeavors to challenge long held beliefs in what was acceptable behavior.  I can still see Benjamin jamming a crucifix through the church doors.   Now that was blasphemy!

While our parents hoped we would grow out of "it", we didn't.   We took on women's rights and made huge gains in the social acceptance of women in the work place and for their right to decide whether to see a pregnancy to full term or not.  I am not giving my views, just saying that we gave the right to CHOOSE!

Over the 80's and 90's we continued to evolve as the largest age group to ever inhabit this planet at one time.   Because of us, we created the largest economic engine ever created,a nd accepted the idea that it is ok to go into debt just to have the things we wanted.   Our parents philosophy was that if we didn't have the cash, we couldn't afford the purchase.  We passed this viewpoint to our kids.   Our kids are being raised much differently that we were raised.

Well, guess what.   Now we are the largest group to start retiring and/or we have been laid off when the economic engine we spawned collapsed on itself.   As a generation who has done nothing but bring about change, we are challenging the concept that who we have been in corporate life is who we are.   Millions are listening to their inner guidance some for the first time in their lives and are dealing with that nagging voice that keeps asking " Where is my passion?".  What I have always done isn't working for me any longer.  

For many, knowing their passion isn't enough.  Because the next question is "How can I possibly do what is in my heart to do? "  The excuses start:  no money, family issues, geography issues, marriage issues.   Once we know our passion, we don't need to know the how:  The universe will manifest it and move those obstacles out of the way.

So now we come to purpose:   I know what calls me, I can see Spirit showing me the first steps, but why?   What higher purpose and value is there in being a baker or store keeper or project manager?    The answer lies in this:

It doesn't matter what we do to serve on this planet.   It is just important that we serve the greater good and other beings.  If we are doing what is in our hearts and experience our own passion and power for an unfolding purpose, our light will shine!  When our light shines, we attract other people to us for whom we can show the way.

I believe we decided to all be born at this time to be way showers for those coming along behind.  I know that I have had many way showers ahead of me to show the way and as more and more people are waking up, I find more wayshowers every day.


   Without these 3 key ingredients,
life will be just getting up day after day and doing all over again
what you did all the yesterdays before.
